Horse cull prompts rpsca concerns

The B.C. government has issued several reminders to its public servants and civil servants in the past month about the need to protect horses from future attacks.

One of the more recent reminders, released Monday, is on a document published by B.C.’s ministry of environment, Parks and Recreation. 구미출장안마 구미안마The section about the possibility of a horse-to-horse collision is titled “Lack of awareness for horses on public lands.”

“A 2013 study found that most people have not heard of the possibility of horses in wild,” reads the note, which includes the following note: “In 2013, the public was unaware that horses can attack humans. Many people thought that horses were the only animals that could attack anyone — only a threat to a horse could make it that far.”

An additional section in the note asks: “How would you feel if your dog attacked you for riding in the woods?”

At the moment, the B.C. Ministry of the Environment’s email list does not have the same email address as that used by the Ministry of the Environment’s social media accounts, making it impossible to be sure it was only a joke, said Scott Hutton, an assistant professor of public policy at Western University who has studied wild horse issues.

“If you think they’re really serious, why wouldn’t they let people know about it?” Hutton said. “To a point, you start to have some confusion if they’re taking the advice of the government and then giving it to people with no background in the subject.”

In an email obtained by Postmedia News under the Access to Information Act, Hutton wrote the ministry had been “muzzling” information on the issue, but가평안마 가평출장샵 did not provide an explanation.

The ministry was also advised not to email the public, as it could jeopardize its investigation.
